Our manufacturing plants are among the world's most highly automated. They operate according to the world's highest manufacturing and environmental standards, and yet they are firmly based on the product needs and wishes of local customers.

Danfoss District Heating History

In 1991 District Heating was launched as a separate product line at Danfoss. At that time the turnover was a modest 10,4 million EUR, the business and the products were mainly for the Scandinavian countries.

The aim of the new business was to build up a new product line in order to become a global supplier of district heating components and to expand the product range.

Danfoss District Heating is one of the few companies able to offer a comprehensive range of substations, heat exchangers and automatic controls for district heating plants, large distributor stations, commercial substations and one-family house substations.

Danfoss is therefore a sound choice whenever district heating systems are to be planned, installed or upgraded.
