The new Swedbank office is located in the New City Centre in the Snipiskes district of the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The building serves as a central office for Swedbank' s employees and features 16 floors, 4 basement floors, 4 underground parking levels and a height of 60 meters (197 ft). The building is comprised of two separate volumes - 14 and 16 floors - each interconnected by a glass atrium and one horizontal volume equalling the height of 4 floors.
The winning design was chosen from a contest in which there were 22 entrants. The winning project was chosen because of its superlative integration into the surrounding area.
