Three thermostats cover the needs
The EFET 530-series comprise three thermostats, which meet individual needs of the end users for floor heating. Regardless of whether the thermostat is to control the floor temperature, the room temperature or a combination of the two, we have a thermostat to meet the needs.
All thermostats of the EFET 530-series are IP 31 classified and therefore suitable for mounting in wet rooms. As an extra nicety, the EFET 532 can be locked on a mximum floor temperature, which makes it particularly suitable for floor heating underneath wooden floors, where the temperature should never exceed 27 Celsius degrees.
65 percent lower standby consumption
At Danfoss we incorporate environment and economy in our solutions and Danfoss' developing engineers constantly work to minimize energy consumption. During development of the EFET 530 our engineers have focused on the standby consumption, and the result exceeds all expectations. With an annual standby consumption as low as 6.13 kWh, the new EFET 530-series consumes as much as 65 per cent less than the 520-series. This makes the EFET 530-series particularly environmentally friendly and economical.
In addition, the 530-series has a 15 A relay, which enables control of floor heating on areas as big as 34.5 m2 at 100 WATT per m2.
High degree of safety
As the world's leading producer of electrical floor heating systems, Danfoss guarantees quality. For example, the EFET 530-series is equipped with a two-pole safety switch, which interrupts the thermostat completely. At the same time, Danfoss' newly developed Sensor Failure Monitoring safety system secures that the floor heating is immediately shut down, if the sensor is interrupted or short-circuited. This prevents the floor surface from ever becoming too warm.
