    ChangeOver6 - 6 port motorized ball valve

    In a 4-pipe change-over system switching flow between heating and cooling circuits is done with a 6-port motorized ball valve, controlled by a single digital signal.

    Flow control for heating and cooling circuit is performed by a separate pressure independent control valve and modulating actuator.*

    6-port ball valve:

    • Differential pressure drop over the valve DN15 is less than 5 kPa for 450 l/h
    • Kvs is fixed at 2.4 m³/h
    • No cross-flow between the heating and cooling circuits up to 8 Bar
    • Dezincification resistant brass (DZR)

    AB-PM - Combined Automatic Balancing Valve

    Branch should be balanced with a differential pressure controller for dynamic hydronic balance, with following characteristics:

     

    • Valve should keep differential pressure across the branch by membrane driven controller.
    • Valve should have shut-off function. 
    • Valve should have possibility to mount actuator. 
    • Valve should have variable setting. Setting value should allow to set a combination of needed Dp and max flow limitation.

    AB-QM – Pressure Independent Balancing and Control Valve (PIBCV)

    The pressure independent balancing and control valve which means that the control characteristic is independent from the available pressure. The precise flow control performance of the AB-QM with a Danfoss actuator provides increased comfort and superior Total Cost of Ownership. The AB-QM ensures and control the required flow on every terminal unit and maintains Hydronic balance in the system.

    AB-QM has following features:

    • Flow limitation function
    • Modulating below 1% of set flow, regardless of the setting
    • Authority of 1 at all settings
    • Able to close against 16 bar of differential pressure

    • Differential pressure setting should be linear via visual scale and without tool, locking function should be integrated to prevent unauthorized change of setting
    • The setting range should be adaptable via spring replacement. Spring should be exchangeable under pressure
    • Valve should provide differential pressure setting range fit to application to ensure optimal system performance (such as 5-25 kPa setting range for radiator based systems)
    • Valve capacity per valve size should cover flow range according to VDI 2073 Standards (with water velocity of up 0.8 m/s)
    • Valve should have shut-off function separated from the setting mechanism. Shut-off service function should be possible to do by hand / without tool
    • Drain function should be integrated in valve
    • Valves should have integrated flushing service function. Flushing can be done with flushing accessory
    • Valve should be delivered with impulse tube. Inner diameter of impulse tube should not be bigger than 1.2 mm to ensure optimal performance within the system

    • Differential pressure setting should be linear throughout the setting range (1 turn 1 kPa or 1 turn 2 kPa depending on dimension)
    • The setting range should be adaptable via spring replacement in dimensions DN 15-40. Spring should be exchangeable under pressure
