The Danfoss motorized control valves range (MCV) for district heating is applicable for use in water- and glycol based heating and cooling systems. Control valves are used to ensure precise control performance of the temperature level in the heating system which provides proper end-user comfort in the building.
Motorized Control Valves are used in many different building types.
The new Valve Ruler App from Danfoss, available for smart phone or tablet, allows you to select and connect valve types and actuators for the application at hand. You can input or calculate KV by entering the required flow and inlet/outlet pressure. You can also select application type, and specify valve connection, ports and PN for the application.

One actuator covers the whole range
The electrical actuator AMV(E) 655 can be controlled by electronic controllers with modulating or 3-point control output in heating, district heating and cooling systems. The actuator is primarily designed to regulate valves in the respond to the demand of a controller in District Heating / Cooling, Heating, Ventilating and Air-conditioning systems. Combined with the valve type VFM 2 and a stem heater it can also be used for steam applications.
