Danfoss District Heating wins project in London, UK

Danfoss District Heating wins project in London, UK

Between 2007 and 2009 approximately 700 small substations will be installed on Arsenal’s old football stadium, Highbury, North London. This project is one of the largest on small substation in Danfoss District Heating history.

Project data:

700 apartments with Danfoss substations including Hydrometer ultrasonic heatmeter. Radio system for automatic meter reading (AMR).

Highbury was originally built in 1913 on the site of a local college’s recreation ground and has been significantly redeveloped twice. Currently, Highbury is undergoing redevelopment to turn it into an apartment complex, with most of the stadium being demolished; parts of the East and West Stands will remain to be incorporated into the new development.
