On the agenda of the congress this year is among other things the upcoming UN COP 15 conference in Copenhagen - perhaps well described by the subtitle "Climate talks, climate action - DHC leading the way to Copenhagen". Danfoss will be represented by a discussion table at which other interested parties of the industry can participate in talks on DHC, CHP and other themes. Furthermore, we are happy to announce that two Danfoss colleagues have enrolled as guest speakers on the congress: Senior Project Manager Jan Eric Thorsen will be presenting "The DHC Vision 2030 and 2050" and Area Sales Manager Per Boysen will speak about "Energy savings through existing technology". Asked about his expectations for the Congress, Per Boysen says: “I have great expectations for the upcoming Euroheat & Power Congress. In these difficult times, it is important for us to stand up and spread the word of our excellence within District Heating & Cooling. This congress is a brilliant opportunity to do that, especially having in mind the participants from EU countries, who are looking for inspiration in their efforts to reach the environmental goals set out by the European Union. Energy efficiency is a main part of the 20/20/20 goal, and District Heating and Cooling represents a powerful solution for increasing energy efficiency.”
With high-level policy presentations and debates, 8 workshops and over 70 speakers, the 34th Congress also includes the international exhibition of manufacturers, a study tour on 27th May - and a social programme for accompanying persons. Around 400 delegates from all corners of larger Europe and the World are expected to attend this year’s conference. |

Our ability to offer you dedicated solutions rests on several things. The first is our wide range of standard products. The second is our ability to meet the technical re-quirements of almost any application.
But what use would our technical expertise be if we could not grasp the customer's needs? As one of our product appli-cation managers says: "One of the winners has been our willingsness to remain comitted to our customers until we find a solution that works. We don't lose sight of the customer's goal." |
